Tile Materials NJ Tiles Products
- Want a first class job? Start with superior materials. We use the
highest quality materials for every tile installation project.
Proper tile surface preparation is absolutely a MUST!!
Wood doesn’t cut it when it comes to tile underlayment! Some contractors use
plywood as a subfloor for your tile. Tile installed on a plywood underlayment is
subject to the flexing and movement of wood. This eventually leads to loose and
cracked grout, which in turn leads to problem tiles. Save yourself the headache
and save a tree in the process and never let a contractor suggest plywood as
your subfloor.
We use a Super flex thin set and cement board application for floors after having been
properly nailed for added stability and crack isolation. You spent a lot of money on your tile. We
believe this method is best to ensure you will have a long lasting and durable
surface.
NJ Custom Tile uses TEC
brand mortars, adhesives, grouts and
USG brand cement board in all
our tile applications. We will NEVER substitute inferior product just to save
some money on materials. Unfortunately, some homeowners come to realize this
after it too late. We take pride in our work and stand behind what we do.
